We auction off the donated vehicles we receive to raise funds for our charity partners so they can deliver the following programs and services to the needy veterans in your area:

- Specially adapted homes for veterans with disabilities and their families
- Mortgage-free homes for homeless veterans and their families
- Financial and transitioning assistance

- Grief counseling for veterans and the families of veterans who lost their lives on the line of duty
Veterans in the Bay Area
More than 30,000 veterans are living in the Bay Area. A study by The State of the American Veteran has reported that most of the veterans lack the resources to facilitate their transition to civilian life following their discharge or retirement from the service. These findings then led to the discovery of the following:
- Approximately 80% of the veterans are left without a job after completing their service in the military.
- Two in five veterans are living on the streets of the San Francisco Bay Area.
- Half of the veterans in the area are experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder and two-thirds are suffering from depression.
- A high percentage of the veteran population is at risk of committing suicide.
These findings have all the more energized us at Veteran Car Donations to press on with our mission, which is to slash the number of suffering veterans by generating more funds for their benefjt. How Our Car Donations Work

Next, we’ll send a tow truck over to collect your vehicle on the time and date that was designated with you based on your preference. Lastly, we’ll send your vehicle to an auction house.
Once your vehicle is sold, we’ll send you by mail your 100% tax-deductible receipt. Yes, your charitable contribution will entitle you to claim the highest possible tax deduction based on the selling price or fair market value of your vehicle.
