- Call or click.
You can donate your vehicle over the phone by calling us at 877-594-5822 to give us basic information about yourself and the vehicle you’re donating. If you prefer to donate your vehicle online, simply fill out our donation form here. Don’t worry; your information will be kept confidential.
- Schedule your vehicle’s pickup.
After you provide us all the information we need, we’ll verify this and return your call on the same day. We’ll ask you to set a date, time, and place for your vehicle’s free pickup. Our tow truck will then collect your vehicle. We do not require your presence at the pickup site for as long as you tell us where in your vehicle we can find your keys and title. As soon as you hand over your vehicle to us, we’ll give you your towing receipt. This document will release you from all liabilities on your donated vehicle from that point onward. With this receipt, you may now cancel your vehicle’s insurance coverage and DMV registration.
- Receive your tax-deductible receipt.
With your vehicle in our hands, we’ll promptly auction it off. We’ll exert our best effort to sell your vehicle at its highest possible price to maximize the tax deduction you can claim from your donation. After your vehicle gets sold, we’ll send you your 100% tax-deductible sales receipt by mail. You’ll need this to claim your tax deduction when you file your itemized federal income tax return in the next tax season.

The Vehicle Types That You Can Donate
Veteran Car Donations accepts a wide range of vehicle types. The vehicle you’re donating doesn’t need to be in good condition. We’ll accept even cars that are no longer running.
The only vehicles we can’t accept are those that have either been abandoned or stolen. To sell a vehicle at auction, we need its title or proof of ownership, which abandoned or stolen vehicles do not have.
However, in case you just misplaced your vehicle’s title, call us at 877-594-5822 and we’ll gladly help you secure a duplicate copy of your title quickly so you can proceed with your donation.
